President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos led the distribution of Land Electronic Title (E-Titles) to the different beneficiaries in Mindanao region during a ceremony at the Rizal Memorial College Gym in Davao City on February 7, 2024.
The distribution of e-titles is part of the Department of Agrarian Reform’s (DAR) program titled ‘Support to Parcelization of Lands for Individual Titling (SPLIT) Project’. This project aims to enhance land tenure security and property rights for Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries under the New Agrarian Emancipation Act, which was signed last year. Among the recipients are ARBs from Davao City, Davao del Norte, Davao del Sur, Davao de Oro, Davao Oriental and Davao Occidental.
The distribution was also attended by Provincial Vice Governor, Lorna Bautista-Bandigan. It was also witnessed by Vice President, Sara Duterte; Special Assistant to the President Antonio Ernesto Lagdameo, Jr.; DAR Secretary, Conrado Estrella III, and other Cabinet members.
