For consecutive 2 years, the Province of Davao Occidental Accounting Office (PACCO) received the Philippine Association of Local Government Accountants (PhALGA) Excellence Award in a ceremony held at CAP – Camp John Hay Trade and Cultural Center, Baguio City last May 15, 2024.
The award was given to the esteemed Provincial Accountant, Ms. Dorothy Joy A. Ramos,CPA.
On the other hand, first time awardees Ms. Mechel Jean B. Tubungbanua, CPA OIC Municipal Accountant for the Municipality of Malita, and Ms. Eleunar B. Manda, CPA Municipal Accountant of the Municipality of Sarangani, also accepted the same award.
They have earned the award for their exemplary performance with highest professionalism and integrity in which they represent the ideals promoted by the PhALGA, therefore attaining the Unmodified/Unqualified Audit Opinion COA 2022 Annual Audit Reports.
This is a well-earned recognition for the province’s continuous dedication and excellent efforts in government service. At the same time, this recognition is also for the hardworking workforce of the Accounting Office and its personnel under the leadership of the Provincial Governor, Hon. Atty. Franklin P. Bautista, and Malita Municipal Mayor, Hon. Bradly L. Bautista, and Sarangani Municipal Hon. Mayor Adelan B. De Arce.
