LOOK | The National Teachers’ Month 2023 Regional Kick-Off celebration of the Department of Education-Region XI was formally commenced earlier at the New Malita Gymnasium, Municipality of Malita. Schools Division of Davao Occidental vibrantly hosted the said event with exciting performances highlighting the rich cultural heritage of the province.
Provincial Governor Atty. Franklin P. Bautista graciously attended the said event and expressed his immense support and commitment to the education sector. The Vice Governor Hon. Lorna Bautista-Bandigan, represented by Ms. Marivic Hubac, also expressed her profound support, along with Municipal Mayor, Hon. Bradly L. Bautista, who was also duly represented. Board Member, Hon. Brett L. Bautista and Provincial Tourism-Officer Designate, Ms. Anna Christine Bautista were also present to extend their profound support to the sector.
Dr. Rommel R. Jandayan, OIC-Schools Division Superintendent, welcomed the guests and highlighted the great contribution of the late assemblyman, Hon. Benjamin Bautista Sr.
Regional Director Dr. Allan G. Farnazo declared the official commencement of the month-long celebration. The Chief for Education Support Service Division, Dr. Warlito Hua, reiterated that this month-long celebration emphasizes the 4As for this year’s theme: Appreciation, Admiration, Approval and Attention for teachers.
The National Teachers’ Month will culminate on October 5th 2023.
