LOOK| The Governor, Atty. Franklin P. Bautista, headed the Ceremonial Turn-over of the Motorized Banca Loan Program of the province of Davao Occidental to the specific barangays of the municipality of Don Marcelino today, July 19, 2023.
Governor Bautista and the qualifiers signed the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for the implementation of the Livelihood Economic Acceleration Program (LEAP) for the Motorized Banca Loan to the qualified fishermen in the following barangays of Don Marcelino; Kinanga (part is Fishing Village), Lawa, Lamidan, and Linadasan. The event was also attended and witnessed by Board Members Brett Bautista, Danilo Omicas, Vivencio Almano, and FABC Steve Johnson.
The Governor encourages the beneficiaries to uplift their living through this program. He even surprised them by granting financial assistance as a start-up capital. Atty. Bautista acknowledged the collaborative efforts of the different offices in the PLGU-Davao Occidental, namely; PEEIPO, PAGRO, and PSWDO in the implementation of the Motorized Banca Loan.
