The Davao Regional Athletics Association (DAVRAA) Meet 2024 opened last April 1,2024 at the Davao City Sports Complex-University of the Philippines Mindanao Campus Mintal, Davao City. It was graced by our DepEd Secretary her excellency Vice-President Inday Sara Z. Duterte who remarkably echoed a sense of pride among Dabawenyo Athletes demonstrating the meaning of unity and sportsmanship. Victors of this year’s DAVRAA MEET will compete in the highly coveted Palarong Pambansa in Cebu City by July 2024.
Parading in colors green and red with yellow umbrellas and dynamic cheers they hailed as the Best in Marching Saludo and Cheer. Slashing continues as they bagged our first gold medal wins for the highly competitive Athletic Events. 400-Meter Hurdle courtesy of Ronald Tuling Jr., followed by Jillian Tanate in High Jump event, Christopher Malila in Shot-put event and Dorothy Ritz Dela Cruz in event Kyurogi all coming from Elementary Level. Our athletes have also snatched Five silver wins and Three bronze wins as of April 2024.
As they battle towards the end of this Meet, we will pray fervently and rally for their victory.
